Using old hondas stereo in my new camaro can i use wiring harbess from honda since i know it fits that radio?

I've asked alot of questions about this stuff cuz i want to know what i need to do so my camaro has no stereo so i want to use the one from my old honda so can i cut the wires from the harness in the honda and use it in the camaro? Or do i need a speficic one for my 94 camaro to this radio?

What, you can't afford $100 for a new stereo head? That's the best idea and you'll be able to get a Camaro adapter for it and It would be a lot less work. If you go trying to splice that Honda radio into the Camaro harness you'll spend a lot of time with it, you'll do neither car a favor and you'll devalue both vehicles even more than they already are. Be smart. Go sell some of your stuff on Craigslist to scratch up $100 for a decent stereo head. The Pioneer DEH-X2700UI CD receiver drops right in, you can get a Camaro harness adapter for it, the player has USB aux, interfaces with iphone, plays mp3 and has 4 channels plus a sub out and aux power out. Currently $90. Don't waste your time with the Honda radio.

  • If in the owners manual it says I should use 5W-20 motor oil, can I use 10W-40 motor oil instead? I have a 2009 Honda Fit. I just recently bought 10W-40 and when I got home to put oil in the manual said 5W-20. What's the difference? And is it okay if I still use the 10W-40?

  • New stereo in 2011 honda civic lx sedan? I need a new stereo that has USB and AUX inputs. I want to be able to change the song from the stereo by pressing the next button like i would on the radio. I don't want to have to change it though my phone. Could someone tell me some compatible models that will do this? Also can you install steering wheel controls? Like changing the volume and song from the wheel?
