What are some good and reliable sports cars by these brands?
I'm looking to buy a sporty type car from one of the more reliable brands. From what I've heard, Toyota, Honda, Acura, and Hyundai are pretty solid. By good and reliable i mean which cars hold their value the longest, which cars are the least expensive to fix if something did go wrong, etc. I'm just looking for a basic list of some good cars that cost less than 20,000. Obviously not looking for brand new cars
The only true sports cars from those brands are the Scion FR-S/Subary BRZ/Toyota 86 (all 3 are the same car), or the Hyundai Genesis Coupe.
these are the only cars that have rear wheel drive.
a front wheel drive car will not be able to put down a lot of power without struggling for traction and being hindered by things like torque steer.
that being said, if you are just looking for something a bit faster than normal and don't really care about driving dynamics and how the can handles, the Civic Si and Hyundai Veloster Turbo are also great cars.
my recommendation is that you look at something like the Genesis coupe. It will offer great performance even from the 2.0T version (most HP and torque of any car mentioned) along with decent fuel economy and in my opinion, killer looks.
if this is too impractical then a Civic Si.
Well no Toyota, Honda, Acura, nor Hyundai are sporty for under 20,000. Sporty in general the only cars off those brands would be the Honda Civic Si and the Acura NSX (at least 120,000). A good reliable sporty car for under 20k would be a mazda miata. Easy to make faster, reliable, cheap to insure, and used ones are cheap coming in around 15000. A very good used one will be 20K

Mazda Mx5 Miata, the best selling sports car in the world. Reliable, holds its value, and parts are easy to find. Besides that, it is FUN to drive.

- Which brands of cars are more reliable and less expensive to maintain? I have been driving American cars, Honda, Toyota and they're easy to find parts when something go wrong. I would like to buy a Volkswagen beetle or a European car. Like 2004 or 2003 Volkswagen beetle. If something go wrong, does it cost more to fix it? Is maintenance more expensive than a Honda or a Toyota yaris. I know the Honda and Toyota last forever after a few hundred thousand miles and they re still in excellent running condition with regular services. What do you guys think?
- What are some good cars that either already have mods or are just sporty in general? Nothing above 5k? And yes i have look at all the sporty hondas and i like them, but i want a V6 casue their faster than V4s stock. but yeah like give me some websites or car names to look up on craigslist.
- Why is it that some husbands let their wives drive luxury cars while they drive ordinary cars? I've been observing some of my neighbors (one of them is a stay at home mom) and the husbands drive ordinary cars like Honda Accord or Honda Pilot. But the wives tend to drive luxury cars like Acura TSX or Acura RDX (some form of luxury car). What is the reason for this? Why do wives get to drive luxury cars while the husband drives ordinary car? I should say some of them. Its not a problem though but was only curious. The neighbors are Asians actually.
- Looking for a cheap yet reliable sports bike? I'm in 9th grade now and saving up to buy a sport bike at the beginning of senior year my budget will be $3,000. I'm looking at a honda cbr250r and kawasaki ninja 250r any other ideas you give i will look into all help is appreciated. Also not looking for speed since 70mph is the fastest you can legally go in America. Also what is the best time in the year to buy a sports bike form a dealer ship and privet dealer
