Honda is the best car, ever.
Honda. Not Subaru. Honda are of very high quality and supported by quality engineering. They're very reliable, smooth, economical and well appointed. Subaru is a more minor brand aimed at speed freaks (Impreza) and to some extent rural drivers (the 4x4 angle). Subaru are quick, but not of such high quality as Honda.
You only have to look at how many Hondas are sold and on the road compared to Subaru.
They are both really good cars. I gave my daughter a Civic that I drove for a year, she drove it for 14 years and then gave it to her niece. Ran like a top even after all those years, and looked great too. Subaru's are also very sturdy and nice to drive. I've never had one of those though. I've had a Volvo… TERRIFIC car and Audi's are GREAT too. My daughter has one now.
Does anyone really know anyone?
I think Honda
In general, Honda has a better overall quality and reliability rating, across all their models, compared to Subaru.
Subaru. No e at the end
Hi this is splitting hairs as both are good japanese makers.
Honda. Subies have problems with rust, head gaskets, and overly complex AWD systems (which 90% of drivers don't need).
Both companies make decent cars.
Honda arguably better for reliability and build quality.
Subaru makes some faster sports models (WRX etc) and have a better AWD system. Honda don't make anything that compares to the WRX / STi.
So, do you want to cruise in comfort, or win a Rally race? Answer would be different depending on your intended purpose.
- My friends keep messing around with my car. They keep moving it with another Honda key, even though I have my key on me? They are still able to move it. I wanted to know if anyone can help me locate the fuel pump relay on my car. I've looked everywhere online and I can't find it please help, I need to do that in the meantime, I plan on installing a kill switch soon 2000 Honda Civic DX
- I just bought a 1996 Honda Civic manual with around 180000kms on it. There's a bit of water dripping out of exhaust when car is stationary? There's no water in oil I just changed it and it was pretty clean. And coolant was low but is fine now. No smoke either and car is sitting halfway on temperature gauge please help?
- How lease works? How much around would it cost me to lease a car. FIRST CAR? I'm a youngster fresh out of university into my second year of a good full time job. I'm a bit confused about leasing. Honda claims to charge 45 weekly on an ad for a civic, but this seems way to cheap to be true. What is the catch/extra cost on a lease? P.S I'm also weighing the option of buying a used car, but don't want to risk repair costs.
- Which is better over all 2006 Nissan Murano or 2008 Honda Accord? Explain? I'm trying to choose between these two and I'm stuck because the gas on a Honda is better, Honda reputation is better, I love the feel of being in the Mirano and it's an suv. The price is very different as well so hard to choose.
