Which is a better buy a Cadillac Deville or a Lincoln LS?

Please do not tell me get a honda or toyota or even a nissan. I'm not a fan of those cheap cars. I'm planning on buying a used one either a cadillac or lincoln ls for about 4 grand

The Lincoln LS would be my choice. Contrary to what people think the Lincoln LS is a pretty reliable car and parts are not much higher than for a Ford. Most of the parts in the car are the very same parts used in a Ford. It is not a Jaguar it was just a joint coloration between Ford and Jaguar on the design. The parts are all Ford parts.

Personally, my family has driven Cadillacs, but it always seems like repairs are needed to be done quite frequently. Lincolns, they are elegant the LS is an awesome looking car. But both would be awfully expensive to fix. I would go with the LS, just because they look better for an American luxury vehicle.

Lincoln LS

I realize you won't listen to anyone here who advises against the Cadillac and Lincoln, as I do, but those "cheap cars" you mentioned are much better cars -- more reliable, cheap to drive, cheap to insure, cheap to repair, and have higher resale values.

I'd go with a Lincoln they run forever that is why all the limo companies like using them; they can put 300k-400k miles on them easily however the heated seats are less comfortable then the regular seats.

Both are comparable in quality, they have poor reliability ratings and are expensive to maintain and repair. That is why the value diminishes quickly as they age.

Even new, they'r not very reliable. Used @ $4k will be nightmare

I would definitely go with the DeVille because it is a larger car that has a smoother ride though the Lincoln LS is also a nice car
P.S. The LS isn't really the comparable Lincoln to the DeVille the Lincoln Towncar competed with the DeVille

Cadillac is cheaper to repair than Lincoln. All GM cars share similar components, therefore they are readily available and operate in similar ways. GM is known for great transmissions, but their electronics can sometimes be an issue. Lincolns are notorious for fuel management problems… Remember that a Lincoln is really a ford. At this point most cars perform about the same horsepower for horsepower. It is a matter of preference and the ability to maintain the vehicle.

Cadillacs are nothing but BIG trouble.
get the lincoln ls.

Lincoln LS. I don't see very many of them. It's more unique. I think it's also smaller than the Cadillac.

Neither of your choices are good options but you don't care.

Have you considered a grand marquis or a GM with a 3800 engine?

Both large with better repair records. Your options are going to cost you in the long run.

Both are garbage. A janitor should be accustomed to seeing trash like all of Cadillac and Lincoln's models.

I would prefer the Caddy
