Will a previous accident prevent me from getting this job?

I recently had an interview with Germain Honda, and they sent me a pre-employment background check. I interviewed for an appointment coordinator in the Service Dept. I would be answering phones and scheduling services appointments, I would not be operating any sort of vehicle on the clock. My concern is that I was in a car accident last Augst (it was not a DUI situation), but it was my fault. I turned too hard and swiped a parked car, which was parked on a curb. I did get a ticket. Will this prevent me from getting this job?

Possibly

No, only barack obamas horrific job in office will prevent you from getting a job given he has made millions of americans unemployed

vote for trump and he will make america great again and help you get a job

Probably not.

Normally, I would say no. But, since 9/11 and with DHS doing the checks, it probably will.

I see no reason why it would, honestly. Even if you were driving I don't see why it would. But, a lot of these places have gone to a zero tolerance for accidents, at least for their drivers, and this wipes a LOT of people out. For a clerical or office position, I can't see any reason though. It seems more like one of those reasons they would use if you were the wrong sex, religion, color, or something and they couldn't legally not hire you for some other reason.

If you were just given a traffic infraction and were not convicted of any misdemeanor and your job does not require you to operate their cars, probably not. I wouldn't be completely floored if they did turn you down though.
