04 Honda Accord, Car won't start, battery good?
I'm an owner of a 2004 Honda Accord approx. 170K miles, I have been having issues with it starting. For the past few weeks it will not start off the 1st or 2nd turn of key only on the 3rd. This morning I went to start it and it only clicked a few times but won't turn over, gave it a couple minutes and tried again with no success. All my lights come on, radio, AC and etc it just won't start.
Check again. The battery is NOT good. Lights, radio and AC take a lot less juice to run than turning over the engine.
Its a fairly new battery it was just replaced less then 6 months ago.
- I have a 1996 Honda Shadow ACE. It won't start even though the battery is charged. What can I do? I just got the battery charged and the bike still won't start. I can hear it trying but it just won't catch. I know very little about engines but could it be the fuel pump or carburetor that needs to be cleaned or replaced. If so, how do I do that?
- I have a Honda HRX217 push mower. Backfired when trying to start it, now it won't start? It was running, then I shut it off to open and close a gate, and when I went to start it again there was a really loud backfire and now it won't start. It will sound like it's almost about to start but not. Then get progressively weaker each pull. I changed the spark plug and cleaned the air filter. Any ideas?
- Have a 2003 Honda Rebel, won't start (no power) after it rained, I charged the battery, still nothing? Cold end is a little corroded but nothing serious, has been starting up before the rain. Suggestions? And it should be dry.
- Why won't my car won't start after putting in gas? I have a 2007 civic, 80,000 miles, about a year old battery. Yesterday after I filled up the gas tank my car wouldn't start. Waited about 1 minute and it started fine. This had happened about 4 months ago (I had it checked at Honda) and they said it was okay. But today I went a short distance (15 minutes from home left the car for about 5) and my car didn't want to start. What could it be?
