My cars radiator fan is on?
I was washing my cars engine bay and out of nowhere the fan came in and the keys weren't in the ignition, I covered up everything I was supposed to and the fan is still on after 10 minutes? I turned on the car and it started up fine, should I be worried? It's a 88 Honda Accord by the way
You got the fan switch wet. It shorted and ran the fan. Nothing to worry about.
Let it run for a long time to help evaporate all the water off the engine.
Hmm! Sounds automatic.
Did you spray water on the fan relay and cause it to short out?
You got the electrical connections or the relays wet fooling around trying to make your motor pretty!
- Why could my 2000 Honda Civic show it's going to overheat I have coolant a new radiator a new radiator cap a new temp gauge switch and? A new thermostat head gasket is fine could it just need to flushed and a new water pump and timing belt
- 2004 honda civic ex neither radiator fan is turning on? Yesterday I was driving home and noticed that my car was starting to overheat when I was idling at a red light. The heat started to blow out cold air as the car temp. Went up. When I started to drive again the heat worked. This morning I checked under the hood and realized the first cooling fan did not work and the ac/heat fan did not turn on either. I check the fuzes and antifreeze so was wondering what else can cause the fans to stop working
- 1999 honda civic sedan lx a/c condenser fan won't turn on? I checked the fuses all good. Checked the relays all good. Also checked the voltage at the connecter and it's receiving 12v. The radiator ran is running. The compressor itself engages. The a/c is on and the fan still doesn't turn on I've checked the fan using an 12v dc power supply and it worked. So what could be the problem. Blower motor also works.
