Why is my battery light going on when I accelerate?
I recently bought a Honda accord 1997. The car turned on it ran a test drive that and everything was great now when I turned it off I have bought the car ready the guy left that I bought it from. I try to turn the car back on. It didn't even turn over not even clicking so I figured I needed a jump and then I got a jump and then it died again. So I figured I needed a new battery so I bought a new battery put it in and the car runs fine but now the problem is, when I accelerate the battery light turns on why would my battery light turn on?
Because there's a problem in the charging system. You may or may not have needed a new battery but you do need to get the whole charging system checked out before you spend more money, it may be a loose wire, it may be something bigger. With an 18 year old car anything is possible.
Hoe much will the charging system cost of it needed to be repaired?
No one can give you prices for this as it depends on what the problem is and even where in the world you are
It could be as simple as a loose alternator drive belt, or a much bigger issue.
- Why don't i get any response of my 2004 honda 400 ex when i accelerate? When i let the clutch completely out it moves slowly but when i accelerate it doesn't go faster but i can hear the engine, and also its estrange that it doest tuen off when i let the clutch out without accelerating. Can some one give me a tip of what's wrong with it, is it the clutch and i need a new one? If so what would be a good option, thanks
- Check engine light, open door light, and batterie light all came on and won't go off? 2000 Honda Odyssey I already had the altinator replaced it a month old. The batterie almost a year old. Would the belt need be changed or something else?
- Why does my car shake when I accelerate? Every time I drive my car i press the gas and it has a bad rumbling on the right side of the car. The rumbling starts from 1mph to 30 mph. The faster I go, the sound goes away. It also shakes very little and it makes my steering wheel shake very light. I'm going to take it to a mechanic but if anyone knows and can give me suggestions before getting it serviced. It's a 2009 honda civic ex
- 2008 Honda Accord V6 battery light comes on and off. Battery dies intermittently? Battery and alternator has been tested at AutoZone and a local mechanic, both times all tested OK. Trying to avoid a dealership. Has anyone experienced this before? Assuming alternator, but local mechanic and autozone tested OK for alternator.
