Oil leak after oil change?

So basically I went to jiffy lube and got an oil change, car started and continued to leave oil. Not just drops either, puddles. I went back and basically they told me my gasket is busted but they are not liable. I understand this as I has an old car (2002 honda civic lx) with previous leaks but the last time I had it changed before this time in March it did not leak any oil, of course jiffy lube did not do that oil change. So I'm wondering what could this be? Is there anything I should specifically look for?

Take it to a real shop and ask them what it is and if there's anything that jiffytard did that could cause it.

Find the source of the leak. Get under the car with a flashlight and some rags.

If it's from the drain plug (a single, hex-bolt about an inch across), Jiffy Lube did something wrong. They either left the washer (gasket) out, failed to replace a worn gasket, or cross-threaded the drain plug.

If it's from the oil filter (a painted part about the size of a soup can), it's also Jiffy Lube's fault (assuming that they replaced the oil filter).

Oil leaks not from the filter or the drain plug are probably not Jiffy Lube's fault.

If you're not up to this, find a real mechanic, and stop going to Jiffy Lube for anything.

Gaskets go out. It sounds like the pan gaskets bad most oil changes involve unscrewing a bolt on the pan that's it. Maybe bolting it back on shook up the pan slightly and gave it the accerlation it needed to leak its a cheap/easy job for anybody
