Are Honda motorcycles over priced?

A comparable motorcycle from Suzuki, Yamaha, or Kawasaki usually goes for less.

Are Honda motorcycles overpriced? Or are Hondas really worth the extra money?

Honda makes nice bikes.
Okay that is settled BUT any @zz-hole can take a Rolls Royce and turn it into a garbage truck.

Maybe the seller(s) think their bikes are worth more so demand a higher price and they and you can dicker all you want about that.I've owned a couple of Honda's but since they parts are a bit more expensive I've owned more Yamaha bikes (still own one and riding that brand since '74, not exclusively but quite a few).

I'm a Honda aficionado, and one thing that I have noticed is that all Honda dealerships are greedy and intransigent. Their service departments are notorious for overcharging, doesn't matter where the dealership is. It would not surprise me in the least if Honda officially prices their bikes higher. That is fitting with the company they are. Yes, they make great bikes, but their business practices are beyond mercenary. I know a guy who was certified as a master mechanic through Honda and he will not work for them again, ever. He's doing quite well freelance.

Looking at MSRP, apples and apples:

Etc. Hondas are not expensive when looking at similar motorcycles.
