What is a good motorcycle stand for winter? - 1

Added (1). i got my first bike last spring now i need to winterize it but i can't seem to find a good stand to get the wheels off the ground. I have a 1100 honda shadow there's no center stand it just is lean. So i'm trying to find a stand to get the wheels off the ground but all i find are the large ones i just need one that isn't expensive. There are no shops near me. I was gonna order online. But all i can find are stand that get only one wheel off the ground at a time or are not ment for long term.

Will need to stabilize the bike though as it may be very tippy once jacked up.

On the bikes I had with a center stand, I used that.
No center, I used the side stand.
What problem leaving the bike on the ground?
I never had any.

  • What is the winter button in my car? There's a "winter" button right next to my hand brake, what does it do? My car is a 1999 Honda Passport 2 wheel drive v6, if that's inportant.
  • How to mount a centre stand on a 99 honda transalp? I'm trying to mount a centre stand on a honda transalp from 1999. Problem is that I can't find out where I should mount the springs. Where should the springs be hooked on to the frame? The bike is imported from germany, so I'm asssuming it's a EU model.
  • What should I do about a garage that refuses to stand behind a parts warranty? Five months ago I had new front brake pads and rotors installed (Honda Civic) at a local non-dealer garage. Now they are making grinding noise when the brake pedal is applied. A trip back to the garage revealed the rotors were warped. The invoice said they were warrantied for two years, but the garage said the warranty is with the manufacturer and for parts only. I would have to take it up with them to recoup money it will take to replace these parts and I'd still have to pay for labor.
