Will a 26mm carb will work with a single cylinder 250cc yamaha?
My bikes carb is rotten… So i'm planing on fitting a new carburetor for the bike. Currently under the process of fashioning a new spigot and a carburetor manifold to fit the bike. My question is will things work? I'm planing on mounting a 26mm slide carb with a custom spigot to the Yamaha SR250 since i don't have a carb. The original carb which came with it is 34mm… As far as i know after doing a little bit of research 32mm and 34mm both work on it… And i know a friend of mine who mounted a Honda AX1 250cc carburetor to the SR 250 and runs fine… So what are the chances i have?
Very slim chance of it running "fine" way too small.
You said "after doing some research, a 32mm-34mm will work".
You have a 26mm. It will work, but expect lower power… If you get it tuned right.
Very little chance of the engine breathing and fling correctly
- What should I go with? Single carburetor or twin? I'm trying to get my honda rebel ip and running but can't find another carburetor anywhere! Anywhere that has it assembled anyway. But on ebay, they have a surplus of twin carburetors for cheaper than the single. Should I get the twin? What differences will there be if I do?
- Honda Civic Manual single clunk when pressing on gas and letting go? I think I have an issue, I have a manual Honda Civic 2010. I noticed that when I'm already in gear, like already switched to second for example and I'm cruising just say from 22mph and then naturally slows down to 19mph so I press the gas a little to go back to 22 I hear a single like clunk noise and as soon as I let go of the gas I hear another clunk. It's mostly just on gears one and two that happens. Any idea what's wrong? Haha
- 4 cylinder vs 6 cylinder vs 8 cylinder vs 10 cylinder? Which is better to get? On small sized cars such as Honda Civic, Mitsubishi Lancer and Toyota Corolla you're stuck with 4 cylinder, since 6-cylinder is not available as the option What if I get v8 or v10 vehicles… Is there any problems?
- Should i buy the 4 Cylinder or 6 cylinder Honda Accord 2007? I'm tempted to purchase the 6 cylinder model but i've heard it's not as reliable as the 4 cylinder with their transmission problems. Is this true. Also what mpg do the 6 cylinder typically get. I know it differs from each driver.
