What's the best way to learn how to drive manual?

So I want to learn how to drive stick shift, as I've had my eye on a nice looking Honda Prelude, and here in America far fewer people know how to drive stick, which means it's harder for a stick car to be stolen then an automatic. Are there drivers lessons on how to driver stick at drivers school or what? All my friends and family have Automatics, and the closest I have is my current car being a 2003 TL which has what I believe is called Autostick where I can shift the gears one at a time with little computer intervention. Long Story short, how do I learn to drive manual?

Go get driving lessons or have a friend teach you.

Get two bathroom scales and a plunger. Practice going from 0 to 30lbs alternating each other foot. And using the plunger as as gear shift. Also take some driving lessons with a friend. It take weekend to learn.

  • How long will it take me to learn to drive a gearless scooter? I know how to ride a bicycle and want to learn to drive Honda Activa, any idea as to how long it will take me to do the same?
  • What's the best way to start removing paint on a car? So I just bought a Honda civic (used off crag's list) and I want to paint it flat green, no gloss or anything. I want to (at least try) to do it on my own, Not sure if ill paint it myself but I want to strip the paint and lay the primer. However I'm not sure what's the best way to start. And what's faster to remove the paint and clear coat.
  • What is a good car to learn how to drive a manual in? I'm in college right now and I'm a huge car enthusiast. I want a car with a manual transmission that will satisfy my spirited driving while also having good gas mileage because some of my classes are out of town. I also need it to be very reliable as well. I was thinking about the Honda Civic Si but that car has a bad reputation and I don't want to be branded something that I'm not. My budget is around 9k-12k.
  • What can be the best way to fix CEL? I have a honda civic 2005 automatic. I'm trying to fix it to pass the smog test but the CEL comes on. I took it to Autozone to see what code it is. It turned out to be P0741. I looked it up and it has to do with torque converter. Now, a friend offered to take my car to his mechanic and the guy said it has to replace 3 sensors. I don't know what to believe. The car works perfectly fine.
