1984 Honda atc110 won't run unless choke is on and won't idle?

I have a Honda atc 110 and it will start with choke on and run but it won't idle. And when I turn choke off it will die. I just bought a new carburetor for it and I tried adjusting the screws for on it but it did nothing. Any ideas?

You have a plugged up main jet. Probably from the ethanol in the gas that sat in it for too long. That happens to snow blowers and lawn mowers all the time too.

  • Motorcycle starts and revs but won't run? I have a 2004 honda rebel 250, and it has a little trouble starting but i can get it started. When i rev the engine though, it starts to sound a little off and the whole bike vibrates like crazy. If i let off the clutch the bike pulls a bit, but it doesn't move if i give it throttle, like the clutch is burned out (but I think the clutch is fine). Any suggestions as to what's wrong are highly appreciated.
