2010 Subaru Forester is this a good vehicle?
Looking at buying a 2010 Subaru Forester AWD. It has 141 thousand miles on it and in good shape. They are asking $8000.00 I do not no anything about Subaru's but I do no a lot about Toyota's and Honda's and from what I heard, I've heard Subaru's last as long as Toyota's and Honda's. Any opinion on this would be great.
8,000 is a little high, because after 200,000 thousand some people call them valuless. Subarus if you take car of them will easily hit 300,000 .
Marketing makes Subaru's look reliable but they have a dark history of problems. Their engines like to blow head gaskets around that mileage (a very expensive repair) they also like to burn oil and if the timing belts are not done correctly or on time, the engine can easily get destroyed. I'd be looking for Toyota's instead.
Subi parts are more expensive than Tojo or Honda
How "good" it is depends on how well it has been maintained and how hard it has been driven. A 1-owner car responsibly driven by an older adult who kept impeccable maintenance records is going to be much better than a 2 or 3 owner car with no maintenance records that has been driven by a teen or young 20-something. At the very least, pay an independent shop to do an all-points inspection before you agree to buy it Anything it needs you can negotiate the dealer down on Still it's kind of high mileage for the year I wouldn't buy a 2010 that has more than 100k on it and I'd be willing to pay a bit more than $8k for it.
Hi number 1 it is 7 years old. So has had some use.
My dad likes his so far.
I have a 2008 Impreza my boyfriend blew the motor because he did not bother to change the oil so that can happen in any car. I haven't gotten stuck with it yet and it's a sedan with all wheel drive.
Not for $8,000 dollars
- What does P mean on a parking ticket where your vehicle type is written? As in: Vehicle GRY HOND P? I received a parking ticket and really can't afford to pay it! My friend told me I should look for typos on the ticket in order to contest it. On the ticket where the vehicle type is listed, the line reads: "Vehicle GRY HOND P". I do own a grey honda, but I was not sure what the P stood for? I tried to google but couldn't find anything - please help!
- Honda CR-V, Hyundai Tucson, Nissan Rogue, or Subaru Forester? My grandma is looking for a new car and she'd prefer a small SUV. My family has no experience with Subaru and very little with Honda and Nissan, but my parents have had a very good experience with our 2013 Hyundai Sonata. From what I've heard, the Honda will hold its value the best but Hyundai offers a 10 year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty.
- What's a good 2010 vehicle, looking for a fast reliable car any ideas? I've explored lancer gts models, some honda civics sport models. I'm looking to spend around 15k and trying to get my moneys worth. What is a good option Also i'm looking to further upgrade whatever vehicle i buy, through the years of having it
- 2012 Mustang Gt vs 2014 Scion tc vs 2010 Honda civic vs 2010 Chevrolet Camaro? Don't worry about the money. Just need to know which ones are the most reliable (in order from best to worst if possible please) and which one I should get! I'm 17 years old.
