Check the fill cap and/or owners manual for the weight. Once you go synthetic I'd stay synthetic.

Your Honda requires SAE 5w20 weight oil. You can use conventional, or synthetic, your choice. If you use conventional and drive normally then change it every 5,000 miles. If you use synthetic change it every 7,000 miles.

  • Best synthetic oil for my Honda CBR250R? I've been using the Mobil 1 Racing 4T 10W-40 motorcycle oil but I'm looking to switch to Amsoil Metric 10/40 motorcycle oil. They both are the same price. Is the Amsoil a far superior oil?
  • Is going from synthetic oil in my '03 HOnda Hybrid to regular oil bad? Over 100K miles, always used synthetic oil. Took the car to my mechanic to have brakes checked, and he thought the oil looked dirty so he drained it and put in regular oil. Now I'm concerned about my engine. Advice please? I do not know what kind of regular oil he put in.
  • I put synthetic blend on a honda civic 237000 miles? Honestly, without knowing much about oil, I bought a synthetic blend valvoline and put it on the honda civic like an idiot. Tbh, I have no idea why it has a lot of miles on a year 2000. But can anybody explain if this is a bad thing?
  • 2008 Honda Civic LX - Oil Change (Conventional/Synthetic)? I just got my oil change done today at Valvoline because of winter, otherwise I would just do it myself. They asked me if I wanted conventional or synthetic. I went with conventional because that's what I always have used. Is it safe to use synthetic oil in my car?
