2007 Honda Accord loss in mpg?
I have hooked it to an elm127 and everything checked out. No codes, operating temperature is registering fine, nothing out of the ordinary. Upon visual inspection, everything seems fine. Changed air filter, still keeps getting worse. Engine runs fine.
No hesitation, no noticeable loss in power or acceleration. Was getting 32 mpg. Over the last 3 fill ups, went from 23,21, and now 18.
Very sorry for this loss of efficiency. There are so many variables but this quick degradation is serious enough to warrant the services of a mechanic. From a bad catalytic converter, to wheel bearings dragging, to brakes dragging to computer or sensor malfunctions, etc. The list is quiet extensive. That is why only a trained, experienced and licensed mechanic has a chance to find the issue.
- Honda dirt bike power loss? The bike got water in the cylinder and the piston stopped because of pressure in the cylinder. I forced kicked it and it broke free and started… After this it seems like I don't have very high top speed
- Loss of oil? 99 Honda Civic LX? I'm either losing it or burning it. Any suggestions on where to look, I looked at the oil pan and yes, there's some oil there, but its not alot… I've searched the engine over and over, there's a puddle near the distributor, but i checked the seal and it looks fine…

I mainly drive it to the market and nearby places and I noticed that the MPG display on the dash reads anywhere 8-15 mpg. - Why does Low MPG display on my 2005 Honda Accord Hybrid? What could be the problem with my car if the dash marks 8-15 mpg? The car was bought like 2 months ago, it was a salvage title, and that is all I know as far as that goes. Is there anywhere I can take it where they can check it for free? Like AutoZone? Any low cost fix?
