Why is my 2005 Honda Accord Hybrid show low mpg?
Recently purchased the vehicle. I mainly drive it to the market and nearby places and I noticed that the MPG display on the dash reads anywhere 8-15 mpg. I'm really bummed if this is what I'm getting because I purchased this car to get good mileage. Please do help!
Is the dash display set for "Instant economy"? Ignore that. Set it for average or do like most folks and fill it, drive it, refill it and do the math.
I'm pretty sure the display is wrong, just do the mats, however check the air pressure and change the spark plugs, you can see noticeable gas economy and this mods are very cheap my advice get some NGK spark plugs
- What are some Hondas that have low mpg? -must NOT be a car (has to be an SUV or truck) -has to have at least 20 city/25 highway mpg -must be a Honda My teacher just said that Hondas are really good cars and it's not like I'm going solely off her opinion her but I just wanted to look at some Honda vehicles and see if they even compare to the Jeeps and Subarus I've looked at.

- How to drive a honda civic hybrid car with out hybrid battery? Bought a car about 4 months ago and the battery is now dead. I check to make sure its not the normal battery and Auto Zone said it was fine. I'm sure its the hybrid battery but i don't have the money to pay 1,000 or more for a battery on a car i just spent money on. Is there a way you can drive this car without the hybrid battery? Or dose anyone know a place to get these batteries cheaper?
- Can I upgrade hybrid car performance w/ losing hybrid properties? I have a 2005 Honda civic hybrid. Can I customize parts components electronics everything. And still have hybrid mileage?
