95 Honda Accord Oil Gauge Not Working?
My 95 Honda Accord Wagon's Oil temp gauge does not work. When the car is turned to the on position, you can see the gauge bump faintly up, but does not move any more. After running for a while, it still stays at the bottom in the blue and will not move at all.
What do i need to replace to fix this?
Note: This car does have 270,000 miles.
Sounds like problem with the oil pressure switch.
- Honda cb500 1994 temp. Gauge, and oil indicator does not work? Hey guys just got my first honda and of course it's great and i'm loving it, but i have a small issue with the temp gauge. It seems not to work, even when the fan turns on it does not seem to even get up from the bottom. So any ideas what and where i should try fixing? One more thing is that the oil indicator does not light up at the start, any ideas why? The lamp is ok I've checked it already
- Will a oil pressure sensor cause a 1999 honda civic not to crank if oil is low? While I was driving I noticed it wouldn't go any faster while I was going about 60mph but I felt the transmission spinning and the revs were high I then pulled over and put the car in Park and noticed the engine wasn't on Or Is it seized?
- Oil Change: Honda Motor Oil Vs Generic oil, does it make a difference? I have been getting oil changes with Honda motor oil for 15 years on my 2002 civic that now has 132K miles. If I switch to a generic $10 oil change garage shop will it still be ok? I know the Honda filters are better then the cheapest generic ones but how about the actual motor oil?
- 2008 Honda Accord windshield wiper speed adjustment not working? Recently my 2008 Honda accord's windshield wiper speed nob dial thingy (the thing with the rain drop looking things) stopped adjusting the speed of the wipers. The wiper motor fuses are okay and the wipers work fine but the speed won't adjust. Any ideas on what is wrong?
