97 honda accord se how do i get to the fuel pump? Found panel in trunk but it is for gas gauge?

Is there easy way to get to the fuel pump i removed back seat and there's no access panel

It's under that access panel you found. The pump is inside the tank. Once you removed the seat it should be easy enough to get to the screws (bolts) that remove the cover. Then there will be more screws (bolts) to remove to remove the pump. Remove the wires (plug). Be careful not to damage the sending unit (gas level meter) while getting it out - you will most likely be reusing that part, unless you got a used one from a salvage yard. When reassembling, make sure the fuel gauge on the dash works before tightening everything. Make sure the gasket is in place and tighten everything. **Make sure the tank is NOT FULL! Syphon off some gas it it is.

It has been discontinued from Honda, and no one else has it. It is a metal gear. The one's for the 1986-2001 CR 500 are plastic. If I have to use plastic, I will. However, I prefer not to. If anyone knows where I can get the OEM 1985 Honda CR 500 gear shaft, I would forever be grateful.

I have my car title and probably my insurance card (had a duplicate). Would they make me a key? How much would they charge? Or, should I just get a locksmith? I eventually need a spare key, so I thought that was a great idea. I called Honda asking what I should do and they told me to get a locksmith. They didn't even mention that they could make me a spare.
