99 honda accord won't start?
I have a 99 honda accord, its been having some issues where it wouldn't start, the lights, ac, radio comes on just not the engine. My dads mechanic friend changed the starter for me and it worked for a while, then the car started to not start on the first turn of the key. I would have to turn it a few times before the engine would actually start. And now I'm back to square one, i turn the key and everything but the engine turns on. Is it the starter solenoid?
When's the last time you changed your spark plugs?
What kind of transmission does the Accord has: A/T or M/T? Did the mechanic check the Clutch safety switch (M/T) or the Park/ Neutral switch (A/T)? Does the car has alarm system?
The mechanic forget to check one most important thing besides the battery: The ignition switch! Rookie mechanic tend to jump into their own conclusion and most of the time and miss- diagnosing for the real cause.
Does the starter clicking when you turn the key to the "Start" position? Does the car cranking good and run when having a jump start? If the answer for both questions is Yes: Recharge and retest the battery as well as the cable connections. If not: It's the ignition switch. If he did check the Clutch safety switch or the Park/ Neutral switch as I've stated above.

- My 1983 Honda nighthawk 650 won't start with the electric start? I recently replaced the ignition coils because the old ones were getting heat soaked and the bike would die, however now the bike won't start with the electric start it turns over fin and the starter sounds fine but it won't start occasionally it ll start when it's cold or try to but I've been having to bump start it in order to ride it. So what's making it do this? Could it be the kill switch? Or something else?
- I have a Honda HRX217 push mower. Backfired when trying to start it, now it won't start? It was running, then I shut it off to open and close a gate, and when I went to start it again there was a really loud backfire and now it won't start. It will sound like it's almost about to start but not. Then get progressively weaker each pull. I changed the spark plug and cleaned the air filter. Any ideas?

I did a compressin test, the pull start only gets the mower to 60psi but the drill gets the mower to 150psi. This mower does have a decompression vale where the ehaust opest about 1/8 of the way. I tore the ead off and checked and cleaned the valves. They don't stick open. Could there be an issue with the decompression valve? Or would it be the piston rings?
- How come my atv won't electric start but will crank if I push start it? 2006 Honda trx. Doesn't have a pull rope only electric start. The starter motor turns over the engine but just won't start but I'll push it down the yard with it in gear and it will fire right up. I'm so confused by this.
