Why does my car keep turning off while driving?
I drive a 2002 Honda Accord coupe 6 cylinder & lately it's been turning off while I'm driving. The car just turns off & I always have to end up pulling over. When the car turns off, all the lights on the dash turn on including the TCS lights, brake light, door open lights, etc. When I try to start it back up it just tries to but doesn't. I usually wait about 5 minutes & it ll start again but it's been happening way more often now.
Probably related to heat build up causing a part to temporarily fail until it cools down. May well be engine management computer failure. You need some specialist help as this is an unusual fault.

I have a 2000 Honda Civic Ex… Recently I was driving and in the middle of driving, my car shuts off, all my gauges go down and took a while to crank back up. My battery light turned on, so I replaced the battery, thought maybe the battery was old and needed changing, thought maybe that was it. Well it didn't help, it still will shut off and the battery light is still on. Could it be the altinator? Suggestions are much appreciated.

I then start it again and it's fine, every time it will start on the 2nd time, but it doesn't always shut off on the first time. Does anyone know why it does this?
- My car cuts off while driving? My 2000 Honda Civic ex will cut off on me in the middle of driving. Right before it cuts off all the interior lights will flicker. I've checked the connection on the battery and still doing it.
