Cheap liability only car insurance for college student?
I'm a student athlete on a full scholarship which means i can't work to afford the expensive car insurances now a days. I've been doing alot of research and came across liability only car insurance. I know its not the best choice but i got to get something. Can anyone tell me any car insurances that cover liability only car insurances?
my uncle just got me a preowned 1995 honda accord. I'm 19 and been driving since i was 16, never got a ticket or anything like that
I would use a website like compareUSinsurance.com where you can get multiple quotes at one time
Your best option is to compare car insurance quotes from multiple companies in your local area. You do this online for free…
Try a site like: QuoteAgents.com
Any car insurance company offers liability only insurance. IF you're financing this 1995 Honda Accord, the finance company will probably REQUIRE you to have full coverage to protect their investment since they hold the lien. The main problem you will probably run into is that you are NOT old enough to sign a contract & NO insurance company will cover the car for you. You will probably have to get the insurance in your parents or your uncles name & then you pay them your part of the premium. They can just add you to their current policy which might save you a little bit on their multi-car discount. So, you should probably start calling local insurance companies in your area & ask for a quote. Just don't be surprised when they say they can't give you one because you're 19!
Most any and all insurance companies will sell you a liability only policy. It's very common.
First off, if the car is financed, the lender REQUIRES full coverage to protect their ASSets.
Second, you better have theft coverage on that Accord, as they are very popular with the local thieves.
