Clutch going out? Flywheel?

I changed my clutch last memorial day but refurbished my flywheel can that be why my rpms spike after every shift? Got a check engine too and las time my clutch whdn out no light came on (honda accord 2010) i promise i havnt gone hard on her but if i do change it should i go for a stage 2? Heard stage 3 no point

Engine light has nothing to do with the clutch slipping

Some places will install a cheap costless clutch, and they usually don't last more than a couple of months, If even one day. Get a Honda clutch if you want to be sure it works. Or a daikin, because that's pretty much OE. Honda's are finicky, especially about ignition parts, make sure you get Honda parts for things like that (and most other stuff too, really), if that has anything to do with your check engine light. Also, you must use Honda transmission fluid, as well as Honda power steering fluid - anything else will cause damage. You can use regular 10w-30 for older manual transmissions (90's models), but I'm not sure about your 2010. I'm pretty certain you need the Honda manual transmission fluid.

Flywheel won't have anything to do with the spike. Clutch won't set off the check engine light. If the light on then a engine problem find out what the code is and go from there
