Honda Accord suddenly won't start?
Started OK. Drove a few miles. Wouldn't turn over at all. Battery is strong. Won't react when jumped. Lights don't dim when trying to start. Checked park and neutral while turning key. No clicking. Ran jumper cable from positive on battery to pos on starter - got no reaction. Any cutoff or Fuse that would cause this? Can a stater or solenoid just quit without prior warning? Is this worth changing out the starter?
Could be an ignition switch problem. I suggest that you call or visit your local honda dealer and tell them about your problem. And keep in mind that several generation accords have had recalls about an ignition switch problem.

- My 1983 Honda nighthawk 650 won't start with the electric start? I recently replaced the ignition coils because the old ones were getting heat soaked and the bike would die, however now the bike won't start with the electric start it turns over fin and the starter sounds fine but it won't start occasionally it ll start when it's cold or try to but I've been having to bump start it in order to ride it. So what's making it do this? Could it be the kill switch? Or something else?
- I have a Hero Honda CD-Dawn(100cc) sometimes engine stops suddenly when i ride? I have a Hero Honda CD-Dawn(100cc) Motorcycle and from few days, when i ride the engine stops, even when i throttle it to get the acceleration back it won't, it stops and hard to start on again. Have to kick more than 5 times sometimes! What's the issues and how do i fix it? Carburetor is clean and there's a fuel filter between the tank and the carb. And fuel goes clean! is it the spark plug or CDI Unit?
- I have a Honda HRX217 push mower. Backfired when trying to start it, now it won't start? It was running, then I shut it off to open and close a gate, and when I went to start it again there was a really loud backfire and now it won't start. It will sound like it's almost about to start but not. Then get progressively weaker each pull. I changed the spark plug and cleaned the air filter. Any ideas?
- I have a Honda Harmony HRB215 K4 SDA that won't pull start but if I take off the recoil and drill start it, it runs perfect? I have a Honda Harmony HRB215 K4 SDA that won't pull start but if I take off the recoil and drill start it, it runs perfect. I did a compressin test, the pull start only gets the mower to 60psi but the drill gets the mower to 150psi. This mower does have a decompression vale where the ehaust opest about 1/8 of the way. I tore the ead off and checked and cleaned the valves. They don't stick open. Could there be an issue with the decompression valve? Or would it be the piston rings?
