How do I bypass the ignition security on my Honda accord it's a 2004 ?
I have busted the ignition out and have the screwdriver in place but it just cranks and won't start… Help please need to get it started
Since you may simply be a less than knowledgeable thief I can't, in all good conscience, provide you an answer.
You need to have a rnechanic check it out
Cars of that age need the security device that is built into the ignition key to make it start!
You replace all the ignition stuff you broke.
You can't bypass it. Your shortest path to getting it going is an automotive locksmith. Will show the ones near you.
You probably broke the ignition switch antenna that picks up the transponder key signal.
What the hell are you doing?
You can't bypass the security.
If you lost the only key you need to tow the car to the dealer, buy a new set of keys and have them programmed to the vehicle.
As a car thief you truly suck Kong sized monkey melons. The day when you could start a car by forcing the ignition with a screwdriver is 20-30years gone. Cars have had transponder keys since the 1990s. That means the ECU needs to receive a signal from a transponder in the ignition key before it will fire up the car. Forcing the lock (or using a cut blank without a chip) will certainly let the engine crank, but the ECU will not operate the injection or ignition modules. If you truly lost your key, call an auto-sparky. They have equipment that can scan the ECU for the code, and programme that code into a new key. If you still have the old key, simply hold it right up next to the remains of the ignition barrel and if you're lucky it will still read the transponder.

- Honda CBF 125 security, safety and price query? I was interested in buying a Honda CBF 125 as my first learner bike. I have looked around and found a few for sale (second hand) for about 1.5k in apparent "good condition" and an average 6k miles. Would it be better to get a cheaper bike with more miles or pay £400-500 and purchase one with less (about 1-2k miles)? Additionally, what is an affordable (within £100 budget) disk lock that can give adequate protection to the bike which also fits?
- Does being a security guard have okay pay? I'm planning on getting a cheap motorcycle when i graduate, like a honda cbr 250 off craigslist and I'm wondering if the pay of a security guard would be able to afford its insurance and 250$ of rent per month. (My roommate and i are gonna split it) How much money do you guys think i might have left over? I know this is a extremely broad question but just make assumptions to fill in the blanks because I'm not even there yet.
- How to bypass a honda chipped key system? I lost my only transponder key to the car, is there a way to use an unchipped key and bypass the system? I want to know if there's a way to bypass the transponder and transceiver system for the ignition? I don't want to spend 125 dollars for a locksmith to come out, and the dealership said they charge 145 and the car has to be there to program the chip.
- Honda magna fuel cut relay bypass? I have an 83 Honda magna 750. The fuel cut relay is shot and it's very difficult to find a replacement. I was wondering if it's possible to simply bypass it? If so how?
