How to tighten the alternator belt on a 1999 Honda accord? - 1
My alternator belt is loose on my 1999 Honda Accord. How do I tighten it?
You will see the bolt holding the alternator is in a slot that it can slide in. Loosen the bolt. Take a pry bar, put it between the engine and the alternator, pull back on it and
move the alternator back until it's tight, have someone tighten the bolt while you hold back on the pry bar.
- How to tighten clutch/friction zone on motorcycle? I bought a used 2013 Honda cbr250r repsol edition motorcycle with just 1100 miles on it yesterday and I keep stalling the bike to point where I had to push it home. The clutchs friction zone is too far out to my finger tips and I have small hands so it causes the bike to stall, What should I do to make the friction zone smaller? How do I tighten the clutch cable? Or do I need to just buy a whole new cable and take it to the shop?
- Will a alternator from a 91 geo prizm fit in a 86 honda accord? The geo has engine damage and the honda has a dead alternator. I was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me if I pulled the alt from the geo and put it in the honda if it would fit and work. I just need it to work for a few weeks until I could afford a new one. Any help would be appreciated.
