Added (1). Also, I took it to the dealer and they changed the transmission fluid. So should I wait a little while until it smooths out, it still feels a little rough. Thanks Guys.
(My car has about 20,000 miles and is my daily local commuter car.
Added (2). Sorry forgot to add, if anyone was confused, it was a transmission fluid change not a flush, just to make sure.
You may have to take it back to the dealer and show the service manager or a mechanic how the shift lever is difficult to move
Changing the fluid has nothing to do with the shifter. Might have a problem with the shift cable. Now find a local shop at ATRA.COM for more help
Take it back to the dealer if you are not satisfied. Just keep going there before the warranty expires. Hopefully, they will find a solution to your problem.
Look for something stuck inside the shift plate.

- Is it hard to do an oil change on a 1992 honda prelude automatic transmission? So i have an automatic 92 honda prelude. Its a 2.2l engine non vtech, and I've been wondering if i should do an oil change on the tranny. Main questions i have are, is it hard? Would i need to change the filter? Or simply just drain out the oil and add new oil in? Any help will be well appreciated. I want to do this on my own i don't want to spend over 100 dollars at an auto shop lol.
- My 2007 Honda Civic Lx can't shift from park to neutral? After having it on jacks with the parking brake on stilts I rolled it out of my driveway in neutral and put it into park and now it won't come out of park.
- My 2000 Honda Civic EX shuts off when driving it, sometimes it'll start back up but sometimes it won't I got my tail pipe and muffler replaced. I also got the catalytic converter and MAP sensor replaced in my car as well. My dad believes it could be the fuel filter, but we have no clue what it really is.
