Sometimes the car does not stop when I brake but it feels like it's hard to stop, is this a rotor issue I'm afraid I will rear end someone?
It happens every once a while I'll press the brakes and it won't stop like a jumpy feeling is this rotorsrelated? 2001 Honda Passport
It could be many things. Take it to a shop As soon as possible. You can't rely on an internet diagnosis when we can't see the car in person
It's NOT the Rotors. Sounds like a Brake Booster problem. Make sure the Vacuum Line is attached at both ends. Just follow it from the booster. You'll usually get a hissing sound inside when they go bad.
When the brake job is done the mechanic will likely find frozen caliper slide pins or a frozen caliper on a vehicle that old. The rotors are warped but warped rotors usually don't keep the vehicle from stopping.
- My 2000 Honda Civic EX shuts off when driving it, sometimes it'll start back up but sometimes it won't I got my tail pipe and muffler replaced. I also got the catalytic converter and MAP sensor replaced in my car as well. My dad believes it could be the fuel filter, but we have no clue what it really is.
- I think my honda accord 2012 was crashed because that rear bumper feels like plastic i don't know? Shouldnt it feel hard? I touched another accord 2009 and it the rear bumper felt hard, mines felt soft
- Car feels like it's leaning when making a turn? The shop said all of my parts look fine and tight and I just recently had a alignment a few months ago. I got front/back struts this winter and according to mechanic all of my suspension parts seem to fine. What could be causing this problem? I have a 2008 honda civic lx. My car just feels really unbalanced when turning and going over uneven pavement.
