My brake light is blinking on my 91 Honda accord and i'm having trouble starting it?
I recently had a rebuilt engine put into my 91 honda accord. I've been driving it for about two weeks and about three days ago the battery died so i got a new one with the warranty i had. But that only worked for a couple days now when i go to turn it i have to turn the key and hold it for about ten to twenty seconds for it to start. It slowly turns and turns till the belt catches i need help please
Your battery is loosing charge. Have someone check the alternative and check any shorts in the car
Test the alternator output - leave the engine idling, turn on the high beams and blower motor on high. Attach a multi meter from the alternator output terminal to ground and watch the voltage. Should remain above 13.8v after 10 minutes. If not, replace the alternator, belt and external regulator if applicable.
- Check engine light, open door light, and batterie light all came on and won't go off? 2000 Honda Odyssey I already had the altinator replaced it a month old. The batterie almost a year old. Would the belt need be changed or something else?
- Is trouble shooting a helmet lock the same as trouble shooting a key stuck in a door? I have a Honda VFR and the key is stuck in the helmet lock. Its all the way in and turned slightly but won't budge. I just need to know if i should try lube before i call a locksmith.
- New starter, alternator and battery but I still have trouble starting my car? I have a honda accord, 110,000 miles. The battery, alternator and starter test good but half the time I try to start my car it will not start. It will click multiple times, the i try again and it starts. The clicking happens if I drive about 10 minutes and then turn off the engine and try and start it again 5-10 minutes later.
- My car is a 1994 Honda Accord and has trouble starting? We have just replaced the battery and we have checked the alternator and it is not that. When I turn it on the oil and battery light flashes, but I don't know if that means anything. It has trouble turning on and and makes noise but yah know doesn't start. Any ideas?
