My honda accord 2005 isn't starting, but the lights all turn on?

My car isn't starting. I haven't done anything new, I treat her pretty well. Recently had an oil change and the wheels aligned it was fine for 3 weeks. Now the car isn't starting, we'll the engine isn't purring like it should. It's not the gas and I know it's not the battery. The lights, radio and ac all turn! I know it's not the fuse box either. Any clue what it could be? Trying to fix it myself.

Could be alot of things, first thing i would do is pull the battery cables off and clean them. Check that your brake lights are working, if not could be the switch on the pedal, and check all the fuses again. Thats as far as i can tell you. It will be a trouble shooting process after that.

You can still have a dead battery where your car won't start, but you still have enough juice for lights and radio. (yes, that happened to me) Check that you don't have any loose connections to your battery. Then, have an experienced friend, fam, or neighbor give you a jump start. (Red cable always goes to the positive end on both batteries!) Negative (black cable) always clamps on the negative end on the good battery and then on a stable metal frame on your dead car (for grounding purposes) (Watch a few different online vids if your young, unsure, or its just been awhile) Once that's all set up, the good car starts, then you try starting your car. If the car won't start after being jump started, then its either your starter, alternator, or your cars computer. You'll have to get towed to a mechanic.

It could be a dead battery,
It will still have enough power for the radios and lights, but it wouldn't have enough power to start the car.

Buffalo ny: shift to park, depress brake pedal, turn key to start. If no sounds at all there could be either no battery or no ground or no start voltage at starter. With an automotive technician holding his digital voltmeter, is there 12.6 volts on the battery? And at the cigar lighter socket? And at the starter?
