I want to sell my car, how do i go on about doing that? Its paid for and have 100k miles on it 2008 Honda Accord LX two doors
Was looking to post it on craigslist and buy a new one after. I have no job super broke so wanted to make money off of it and get a new one in the process
1st thing for you to do is look at the edmunds.com site to see what your vehicle value is; then you need to create an account on craigslist, take some photos of the vehicle, and place your ad… Do NOT expect to "make" $$ from a 10 year old vehicle with high mileage, and if edmunds shows a value of ( example ) $ 700, then you would price yours below that amount… Also - you will see MANY other vehicles like yours for sale, so don't be surprised if you don't get any responses to your ad
So are you looking to just sell it OR trade it?
Yes
You post it on craigslist.
Only accept a full payment up front and for the exact amount only.
Never accept an offer to ship it to someone.
If you are afraid of getting ripped off, sell it to a dealer. You will get less but at least you will get all of what they say you will get.
You won't be getting a better car with no job and being super broke.
- How well built it the Chevy Sonic? Built for over 100k miles? Hello… Looking for a work vehicle. Does anyone know how well built these are? And how long they are made for? Comparable to a honda?
- Is it worth buying a used Chevy Volt with over 100K miles on it? The price is right, but is it worth it? I know I would have to install a power charging station which is an additional 1000 dollars. There's one for sale at 14,500 dollars… But most used Volts are around 23,000 dollars. My other two considerations are a new 2015 Honda Fit or a used Mark 6 VW Golf TDI I've seen people on youtube who average 120 mpg with the volt! One guy's was even 1000 mpg, I don't think he even brought it to the gas station since he bought the car!
- Does the honda 600rr have its transmission in its engine? I bought a used honda 600 and it has a transmission problem. I went to a repair shop and he said they can't fix it because they have to completely disassemble the engine and that is a mess. Is it true and did he just say that because he doesn't want to do it?
- Sell this car or keep it? I have a 2008 honda civic with 150k miles. Recently, it had a cracked engine block? Honda honored the extended warranty and fixed this at no cost to me. I now have a brand new engine with no miles on it. Is this the start of several repairs, and should I sell it? Or should I keep this car?
