Ways to add some power to a 2014 honda accord V6?

I recently purchased a new 2014 honda accord ex-l V6 Coupe and I wanted to add about 35-50 horsepower to it. I know nothing about buying parts for cars. Is there anything that would perform well and at an average price? I looked some things up and I didn't know if the parts had to be specific to the cars.

Years ago you could buy different manifolds and carburators to add horsepower but probably not any more. The modern electronic fuel injected engine is precisely engineered and I don't think it can be adjusted upward and still pass smog.

I would leave it stock, doing unnecessary modifications will void your factory warranty.

You may want to look for an aftermarket intake and cat-back exhaust. Really anything past those basic kit parts aren't developed yet. Things like ECU tuners or complete tuning packages are not yet out for that car.

depending on which parts you get you may see something close to a 30 hp gain with an intake and exhaust. Once a legitimate ECU tune becomes available (expect to pay over $200 for one) then having the 3 will make a bit difference and give you around 50 hp)

keep in mind that in just the intake and exhaust you are looking at something over $1000 and it may void your warranty. Check your dealership to see if they will accommodate such mods without you losing your warranty. It would be a shame if something broke down completely unrelated to what you changed and them ot being able to do anything because you decided to tune the car.
