What amplifier do I need for 2 12s?

I'm trying to run 2x pioneer ts-w304r 12" subwoofers in my Honda accord. They have 300rms each at 4ohms with a Max peak at 1300watts. What would be the best suitable amp for this set up? I would like to run it on either 4 or 2 ohms. Also, I wondering what gauge wire should I run from the battery to the car? Currently, the only thing I have is the aftermarket radio (Pioneer avic z1 which is already installed), the box, and the 2 Pioneer subs. For the record I'm fairly new to sound systems and any recommendations on the format of wiring the subs/amps, or any useful accessories would be appreciated.

Using two 4-ohm subs, a 4 ohm final load is not possible. Only 2 or 8. So you're looking for a monoblock amp that does roughly 600W RMS x 1 @ 2ohm. If you just want something cheap, then:

It won't do anywhere near the power it's rated to, but it'll output enough for your needs.

If you want something a bit higher quality:

If you want bigger names, then checkout the Alpine M500, Rockford Fosgate R500X1D, or Kenwood KAC-5001PS

If you want a Pioneer amp to match with Pioneer subs, get their GM-D8601 amp (). They are rated for 500w RMS at 2ohms. In my last setup, I ran 2 of these and they put out every bit of power that they claim (unlike cheaper brands like Planet Audio).

If you don't mind mixing brands, I'd recommend the Rockford Prime R500X1D (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BF6HYDE/ It's rated for 500w at 2ohms as well, but it will put out more than it claims. I just installed one yesterday, and it almost melted my Pioneer TS-W303r (the older model of what you have).

You probably won't be able to tell any difference between the two amps on your Pioneers, but if you ever decide to upgrade subs, they Pioneer amp would give you more room, given that it will put out 800w at 1ohm.

For wiring, you will want 4 gauge for the Pioneer. If you are running the Rockford, you could just run 8 gauge. Knu Konceptz is a great brand for amp wiring kits. All their wires are true to spec, and you can't beat their prices. Look at their 4 gauge KCA kit (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0050I6KII/ It is made using Copper Clad Aluminum, which is a cheaper and less effective material, but it's plenty enough for either of those amps at full power.
