What type of fuel should i use for my 2002 honda accord v6 coupe?
I recently got a used 2002 honda accord v6 coupe and the previous owner told me she always put 91 gas. I wanted to know if i could use a lower level gas? And what would be the cons for using a lower octane gas?
95 octane is the highest fuel grade you can use for a standard car,98 octane is recommended for performance cars.
87 octane is what Honda recommends. Anything more is a waste of money.
- If in the owners manual it says I should use 5W-20 motor oil, can I use 10W-40 motor oil instead? I have a 2009 Honda Fit. I just recently bought 10W-40 and when I got home to put oil in the manual said 5W-20. What's the difference? And is it okay if I still use the 10W-40?
- What type of exhaust gasket should I use when fitting new exhaust? I would like to install new exhaust system on my car and was wondering if I use the flat oval shape gasket or round conical gasket or both? I'll be installing a backbox and centre pipe. It's a 1998 Honda Civic.
- What type of transmission fits in a automatic 2000 honda accord coupe vtec v6 f23 motor? I heard either an h22 or h23 prelude transmission fits in this car but can anyone be more specific? And how much do these transmissions go for? Does The transmission have to be an automatic transmission? Are these trannys any good? What do I search for when looking for it?
- What should i do if fuel spills into my 99 honda accord v6 engine valves while removing fuel injectors? I tried cranking the engine and it started up very rough. I'm not a mechanic but I think it does have something to do with the fuel from the injectors spilling in the engine valves.
