Which car is better, toyota camry or honda accord if you plan to travel a lot?

I'm trying to decide between the two. They look very similar. But in the end I would like a more reliable, stronger, resilient car that can withstand a lot of driving because I plan to travel with it. Which one is better quality and more resilient/stronger in the end?

Toyota Camry

Osten IS right on HERE! I PREFER Toyotas USUALLY BUT ASK, IF THE CAR YOU ARE BUYING HAS A timing Chain OR A timing belt! An un-savvy CAR PERSON WILL BE surprised IF THEY NEED AN $800 belt JOB OR more IF A VALVE GETS BENT! IT ALSO DEPENDS ON THE year OF BUILD! Toyota IS MY CHOICE first BETWEEN THE TWO! Bye now! LAST week I saw a TURBO DIESEL JETTA with 244k miles and STILL RUNNING PERFECTLY! 50 MPG is HARD to walk away from, and it is GREAT for traction as wel with TWO drive wheels instead of just ONE! BYE NOW!

If your looking for reliability you should consider a diesel, such as a Volkswagon Passat TDI or the new Mazda 6 diesel that's coming out soon. Diesels engines usually go 400,000+ miles without problems! And get fabulous MPG, over 45 MPG going 70+ MPH. Resale value of diesel cars more than make up the extra cost of an Diesel engine.

Either one will last, but avoid Hondas with the V6 engine. Lotsa problems with them.

The one in better condition.

They both are pretty similar so test drive and see what fits you best. That being said the accord is considered the more exciting of the two and the Camry is consider the quiet composed cruiser. That being said reliability depends on the prior maintanceï¼however each year of a car something will go wrong that they will recall
