Why did my 1994 Honda Accord stop running while driving?
Today I was driving my 94 Honda Accord and as I was doing so I noticed my car was slowing down without me taking my foot off of the pedal. I tried to accelerate but that did nothing. Then my steering wheel started to get hard to turn so luckily I was right next to a parking lot and got it rolled in and parked safe. I tried to jump it and did not work.
Because it hates you.
Many things can cause the engine to stop running. Bad fuel pump, blown fuel pump fuse or bad relay, clogged fuel filter, bad ignition coil, and many other things. On a 21 year old car I would suspect a fuel pump problem.
- Sometimes the car does not stop when I brake but it feels like it's hard to stop, is this a rotor issue I'm afraid I will rear end someone? It happens every once a while I'll press the brakes and it won't stop like a jumpy feeling is this rotorsrelated? 2001 Honda Passport

- Why is my Honda Civic shutting off while driving? I have a 2000 Honda Civic Ex… Recently I was driving and in the middle of driving, my car shuts off, all my gauges go down and took a while to crank back up. My battery light turned on, so I replaced the battery, thought maybe the battery was old and needed changing, thought maybe that was it. Well it didn't help, it still will shut off and the battery light is still on. Could it be the altinator? Suggestions are much appreciated.
