I'am not sure if you've disconnected the battery lately or have rest the codes but not ready means that the catalytic converter isn't ready for smog or e-testing.Cars go through a cycle after the battery or codes have been reset and this cycle basically tests the emissions system usually within a week or so of regular driving the system has run through the emission system testing cycle.
Hope that helps and best of luck.By way if there's no codes showing up via a scanner then I suggest that the vehicle is going through it's emission testing cycling.
It is possible to drive for a year or more and not hit the conditions required for some of the tests to be run. Try the drive cycle in the source.
- Honda Odyssey 2008 Moniters Are Not Ready? Hi, my van failed the smoke test, so I went to the repair shop and had all the spark plugs replaced. I've driven the van for 150 miles and tried the general drive cycle from OBDII website, but there are still 2 monitors not ready. The mechanic keeps telling me to drive more, but it has been a few days and nothing works out. Do you have any advice for me?
- Am I ready for a Honda Shadow 750? I've taken the motorcycle safety class and the only other experience on a motorcycle I have had was on my uncle's harley wide glide, which i could handle except for taking off from stop signs. I'm a beginner, but i feel like my only problem is clutch control and turning from a stopped position. So i thought a smaller bike would be better. My question is, do you think the Honda Shadow 750 would be a good bike for me?
- If one or two ISP's ban a site and raise prices, can a new one rise up and compete? Why? Why not? What about Honda/Toyota? Or ' MCI & Sprint muscling AT&T aside? Anyone remember Nucor Steel? Each of those took advantage of very different situations, each with seemingly impossible odds. Thing is, they were all LEGALLY allowed to compete. How about here?
- I have a 1997 ex honda with a d16z6 in it, car not turning on? The car has been sitting on the same spot for almost 4 months. Or more. I knew the battery needed jumper cables so in the past week I did that just fine no problem at all. The other day I tried it won't work at all.(with the jumper cables) now my temperature gauge hits the roof without even turning on the car and makes this weird noise! What can be the problem?! The car won't even crank or anything! Just the lights on the dash turn on.
