Will my car rust if I don't fix something?

I hit another one of my cars in my driveway backing up and the other car was fine but it caused a small dent in my rear bumper and caused the panel that connects to the bumper about a foot away from the gas tank to disconnect from the car slightly by a few millimeters. I don't have the money to fix it right now. It has been raining a lot lately and I'm wondering if I don't fix it will it cause rust. The car is a 2010 honda accord.

It won't cause rust, unless you scraped the paint off.

Depends if the sheet metal is galvanized or not.

  • Which trucks are the most reliable or easiest to fix if something goes wrong? I'm searching for a pick up truck thats reliable. I know everyone has their preference. I'm searching between a ranger s10 z71 f150 and gmc mid sized trucks. Any other suggestions would be great. I know some cars like honda are very easy to fix and i'm just wanting a truck that I can easily fix if something goes wrong.
  • What happens if we use wurth rust remover spray on a car window rubber beading? I own a honda city, I put that on a honda othorised service centre about a problem with driver's side Window glass, it was not rising up properly, they used wurth rust off spray in the rubber beading, for smooth movement, but later after some days, the rubber is getting weaker and got cut
  • How can i fix this Honda Dio? Can i fix it by my own? I wanted to check the front brakes, si i started and raced it holding the front brakes alone. My fingers sliped from the break and I crashed my Dio straight to the wall. Reffer the picture.
  • If I drop something into the engine bay, can I unscrew the bottom of the car to get it? I dropped something into the engine bay and can hear it landed onto the bottom. On the bottom of the car is a metal sheet. I can't squeeze under my car, but I can feel there are screws down there. Do you think I can unscrew one side of the metal sheet (the side closest to the front bumper), bend open the metal sheet slightly, and poke a stick into it to retrieve what I dropped? I have a 2017 Honda CR-V.
