At what weight does a passenger airbag turn off in a Honda?
When I sit in the passenger side, after a few minutes on the road, "passenger airbag off" comes on the screen, but I don't sit weird or anything. I just sit normally in the seat and this happens every time.
How much you weigh? I don't think any manufacture will actually put it in written how much weight it takes just for legal lawsuits. I know Subaru won't & I think GM won't either. Its should be about 40-50lbs I think. You may have an issue with the SIR system or the PPS system(Passenger Presence System)
- Test light on positive lead on starter relay comes on when the motorcycle is off, when bike key is turn on, test light is off? Does this mean starter relay is bad? I'm trying to diagnose my electrical problem on a honda cbr f4. The lights turned on but when I tried to start bike all power shut off and now nothing powers on.
- What does: Passenger-Side Walk-In Feature: with Memory mean in a 2006 Honda Civic? I was reading the features that the car I have has, but i've never been able to figure out what this means: Passenger-Side Walk-In Feature: with Memory? Anyone knows? I'm just curious!
- Passenger airbag off? My mom hit my 2011 Honda Civic on the rear bumber. It was just a small scratch but since then the Passenger Air Bag off light has been on. Is there a way to fix it or should I take it to be repaired? My bad, it said Side Airbag not passenger. @Gary it's a small garage and it was an accident no fraud, no insurance claim is being made and it's a small dent.
- Passenger airbag light turned on (Honda Civic)? I mistakenly left both my front windows rolled down in my 2012 Honda Civic hybrid during a rainstorm and now the "passenger airbag off" light is on, even though nobody (and nothing) is sitting in the passenger seat. The front portion of my car got pretty wet by the time I realized it (I d guess about 20-30mins of straight heavy downpour). What gives?
