Bombardier(can am) vs honda atv?
Which is a better brand Bombardier(can am) or Honda?
Which one should I get 2006 canam 250 or Honda 250 2003?
Which one is better overall and which one is faster?
I assume that your referring to the Honda 250 EX atv.
there both great atvs, it depends on what kind of rider you are. Do like an atv with a CVT transmission, or something that's semi-automatic? The canam (bombardier) has a CVT tranny, which means that it has a gear selector (F) forward (N) neutral (R) reverse, you select the gear and the CVT transmission does the shifting for you as you accelerate (kind of like a centrifugal clutch on a go-kart). The Honda has a semi-automatic tranny, which means it's an automatic in a sense that you don't have to pull a clutch in to shift up/down in to a gear, it's works a little different from the CVT transmission. With the Honda you choose a gear [example] you started the atv and are ready to take off forward you'd click the shifter up in to 1st gear give the engine throttle when it's time to shift to 2nd let off the gas shift it and get back on the gas. The Hondas gear pattern is 1-2-3-4-5 up, all the way down is neutral, and to put in to reverse you (have to be in neutral) , there's usually a switch with the letter (R) on the the brake lever, you push the switch/button down while pulling back on your brake lever then you push down on the shift lever (you'll hear a click) which indicates you in reverse, release the brake lever to proceed to go in reverse;some Hondas (usually the older ones) there's usually a lever down by the engine.
as a recommendation i would go for the Honda because in my opinion and experience there better machine, and there the most reliable atvs, dirt bikes, and motorcycles i have ever had.
Bombardier, Arctic Cat, and Polaris do not make their ATVs. They buy them from companies in Taiwan and China. They are no match for a Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, or Yamaha. Stick with the Jap makes.
- Why does my atv pull to the right? My Honda TRX250x 2013 pulls to the right. It doesn't really do it when i drive but i do a lot of wheelies when ever i have the 2 front tires up it slowly leans towards the right. Just wanna know why and if i cn fix it its very annoying when your on the road wheeling but the quad veers off to side. I've heard the tire pressure could be the reason? Please drop a comment really wanna get this fixed thanks for your time
- Weird whistling noise coming from my ATV engine? So i have a honda 250ex, and today whenever i would give it gas, i would here a strange whistling noise coming from the cylinder block in the engine. When in neutral the sound was not heard. I never heard this sound before and it made me a little nervous. Just wondering if there's a problem with it or if i need to replace something.
- Valve tick? What is this noise on Honda ATV? I was listening to my ATV and I thought about this ticking noise. Wondering if I should be concerned. I recently did a frame swap on it but it made that noise long before. As long as I've had it's made this noise, should I be concerned? Here is a video that shows what the sound is.
- Will a Atv rear shock work on a motorcycle as a rear shock? So I have a 1984 Honda vf700s, which has a shot 17.5" rear shock. I found this shock http://www.ebay.com/...1405356646 and I love the red spring i'm just curious if it would serve well as a bike shock. And If so would it be suitable in terms of riding.
