Buyin my first car. (Honda)?

I was wondering what are the procedures to buying a car? What are some things you should know as well as to ask when at a car dealership? *Sigh* I feel like I don't know anything when it comes to this stuff so I've been freaking out like crazy lol.

Well,

First, take someone that you know and trust and that has been thru this experience before.
Second, research the dealership, friends family, and BBB can all be good sources.
Third, Don't go the same day expecting to make a purchase. Find a few cars you like and then go home and do some research. Just because you found a "good deal" today, doesn't mean that over the long run it equates to a "Good deal" tomorrow. You have to think about the cost of maintance, gas, ect.
Next, narrow your decision down to a few that you think would be a good purchase and test drive them right over to mechanic you trust to have them check it out. Make sure the dealer knows what you are doing and that you have an apt set up with the mechanic so that you aren't gone for hours and create alarm. Then make a decision. After a decision is made negotiate. If they won't lower the price, walk back outside and look around some more, giving the appearance of being unsure. If at they point they still haven't come to you and made an offer, ask them to throw a few services your way such as window tint or remote start.
