CAN I DRIVE WITH A BLOWN OUT TRANSMISSION?

I have a 98 honda prelude automatic, brand new transmission and engine. This morning the D4 light started flashing, check engine light came on, and the speedometer kept spinning (I was on the freeway). When I start to drive it jumps a little. Do I have to get a new transmission or can it be fixed without replacing it? How much would it cost? & can I still drive the car?

Lol. "Blown out" is not a diagnosis, but OBVIOUSLY something is wrong. DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR unless you want to cause further damage, genius. HAVE IT TOWED back to the idiots who allegedly put in a "new" (actually rebuilt at best) transmission and make them fix it correctly. Did you really even need to ask this question? Sheesh.

You should not attempt to drive a vehicle with a messed up transmission. Doing so will only cause more problems, and cause safety problems for you. Have it TOWED to the place that replaced the engine / transmission and have them fix their work. It should still be under warranty for both parts and labor.
