Can you drive a 2001 honda insight with the IMA swith turned off? Will the 12v batt still charge normally?
Will the headlights still work and 12v batt charge as normal?
Why would you want to do that? Why buy the Insight to begin with? The short and sweet answer will be: No, don't do it, matter of fact: You're not suppose to do it at all.
What's the problem? What make you think or trying to gain/ correct something?
- Vehicle I drive is a 2007 Honda Element that just turned 64,000 miles. I'm rigorous about keeping up on maintaining it People constantly approach me and ask if I want to sell it because the body and interior are in great condition as are all the internal workings and suspension. Even though Honda does not require synthetic motor oil I use Valvoline full synthetic and change it every 4,000 miles with a new factory filter. My question is how long will my engine last?
- Steering wheel and brakes got still when I turned the car on? I drive a 2008 Honda Civic with 240k on it, today, I parked my car, put her in park and shut her off. I got back in later on, started her up and put her in reverse. When I tried to back out the steering wheel almost wouldn't move and the brake was the same way. I put her back in park, shut her off, turned her back on and everything was good. I have all new parts on it, or just about, and this is the first time it's happened as far as I know. Any advice on what this could be?
- Does it normally take this long to do these repairs? I have a Honda Civic type r 2003 model. I recently took it in for it's MOT. It failed and needs new brake pipes, a track rod end and a front spring replaced. Aswell as a re-test. 11 days later and it's still in the garage. I tried to contact him on Saturday including his mobile number but could not get through.
