Changing brakes to my car?

If I take my car to a dealership to a lexus will they put lexus brakes to my honda or will they put cheaper ones to my car. I moves to diffrent place and the closer dealer is a lexus. There's no Honda near by…

It would be an expensive waste of time to take a Honda to a Lexus dealership for a brake pad change.
For something like this just use a quality non-specific repair shop if there's no Honda dealership available.

Being a Honda, they would put Honda/Acura brakes on it. I doubt Toyota/Lexus brake pads would fit a Honda product. You can get that work done at any major muffler/brake shop, there's no need to take it to a dealer for a simple brake job.

I agree with the others that you can have the work done anywhere you wish. But if you want to use a dealer that is not the car manufacture then they would have to call a local auto parts supplier and you might not get a OE equivalent part, you would need to specify what you wanted as you would have to do anywhere. If you go to a tire/auto repair they will try to sell you the cheapest thing they can, for some reason they think people only want cheap stuff. I think Walmart started that.

The interesting thing about JAPANESE and ASIAN cars is that they use only TWO BRAKE MAKERS on ANY of their cars! There's really no such thing as LEXUS or HONDA brakes, as they are FURNISHED by BRAKE MAKERS! They can GET HONDA/ACURA brake pads for you, or you can DO THIS YOURSELF! There are OTHER brake pad makers as well! CONSULT with the local FOREIGN CAR REPAIR center about this one! There are EBC brakes an MORE! You can ORDER brake parts ON=LINE from BRAKE WAREHOUSE< and more! You SAVE BIG MONEY on the MARK-UPS they use! BRAKES are a VERY EASY DIY thing with a hydraulic jack and WARM TEMPERATURES!
