04 honda civic lx with 200k miles?
Is it a good buy?
It depends on how much you have to pay for it… It is a 15 year old car this year… If it is in deceit shape and is $500 or less that might be ok… If you have to pay more forget it! A 15 year old car is due to have to replace many parts… Starter, altinater, brakes, fan belt, fuel pump, spark plugs and wires and more! It could be a money pit!
Go on cars.com and look at cars that are the same make, model and year.
Depends on reliability, unless have money for maintenance.
Not really, at 200K mi a Honda is ending its useful life span. It is the kind of car if it is cheap you drive it until it needs repairs then junk it, or sell it cheap.
If it has been maintained and had the cam celt changed, it will be fine
From my point of view, it's not. Even taking into consideration that Hondas are exteremely reliable and keep their resale value perfectly, it's not a great deal.
- Which to get 2004 buick regal ls with 121000 miles or 2004 Hyundai sonata lx v6 with 130000 miles? I'm asking for advice from ppl who have own these 2 cars. I needed a car thats going to last a long time and need to be on budget and please don't tell me go to Honda or Toyota or Nissan. I'm interested in one of these cars.
- Is it worth it to trade a 2003 Toyota Corolla almost 130k miles for a 2004+ Acura TL 90k-110k miles? This is my moms old car and she got the Honda Pilot, she gave it her old car to me as my first car, but I want to trade it for a nicer car but used Acura are expensive and every time I asked the sellers to trade my Corolla and says no. Do you think Acura owners don't like Toyota?
- I have a 1998 Honda CRV with 240 K miles. Needs $1200 of repair to pass inspection. Should i fix or buy a newer used Honda civic? Mike? I'm the original owner and have done a good job with oil changes etc. However, it needs 2 front control arms with ball joints and rear struts to pass inspection. I've also gone past my mileage on a second timing belt (first one done at 90K miles). Car body exterior and interior is in pretty good shape. Inside looks brand new. But repair cost at 1200 + timing belt ~500 =~1700 in repars. Is it time for a newer used auto.
- Should I buy a 2008 honda civic ex-l that has 100000 miles or a honda civic lx that has 82k miles? The honda civic ex-l has only one owner and the honda civic lx is from a dealer. They're fairly the same price
