125,000 miles & never replaced the shocks?
2002 honda civic i've been driving for 13 yes now & it has 125,000 miles. The car handles great but the dealer wants $500 to replace them. Would a place like goodyear or firestone charge maybe half of that like $250? I feel the dealer has a high quote for this job.
You might be able to get about $100 less if you go elswhere
If he'll do it for $500, he's making you the deal of a lifetime. (Struts all around cost me $850 from an independent shop; dealer price is close to $2000.)
News Flash. If only shock replacement dollar wise would fix your problems. Your car has struts on all four wheels.
