2008 Honda Fit with 66,000 miles on it for $5,000? Is this a good deal?
I need to buy a new car and today I got an offer on a 2008 Honda Fit with 66,000 miles on it for $5,000. I'm a 19 year old girl and I know nothing about cars D: Are Honda Fits good cars? Should I buy this with so many miles already on it? Also, I like to travel. Will this car be safe to drive long distances?
Honda are good reliable cars. Very good reputation, able to get very high miles on their engines before needing major work.
66,000 miles on a Honda is really nothing, not much at all. The average mileage for cars is 12,000 miles per year, so that car is used less than average which is good.
Depending on what model.
From a used car dealer, in excellent condition expect to pay around 10k-12k.
From a private individual, in excellent condition expect to pay around 9k.
Check www.kbb.com would be my first thing to do then check many websites on reviews… As an autobody mechanic I've seen these cars before and they hold up well in accidents!
- Would you purchase a 2004 Honda pilot for $6,000.000 that has 216,000 miles on it? I'm just browsing online looking at cars for sale and a lot of them have 200k or more miles on them and they want $4,000 or more. Why do people sale their cars for such a high price with a lot of miles on them? Its not just Hondas its all types of cars private and dealers as well
- Bike guys. 92 Honda Shadow. 22,000 miles. Asking $1200. Good deal or not? I'm totally new to street bikes, although I've ridden dirtbikes a lot. Just looking for any insights on the bike itself (I've heard they're fun and reliable) and thoughts on the pricing. I'm not looking for websites or anything, I've already done some research. I'm looking for actual experience.
- A 2008 Honda CBR600RR w/ 20,000 Miles. Good buy? They are asking $6,700 for it. Assuming that the pre-purchase inspection goes well obviously. I won't be selling the bike for any reason unless I'm forced to sell it. I would change the fairings, exhaust, get new tires and am willing to repair it if anything goes wrong that can be fixed. Any thoughts from you guys? All answers appreciated, but try to keep it serious. Thanks! Also, I went to check for a VIN number but they put the stock number instead… Worth checking it anyways?
- Is it a good deal to buy a Honda Civic 2002 with 219 miles for 2000 dollars? A guy is selling me a 2002 Honda Civic with 219000 but I don't know, I consider that way to much miles. I need an opinion, what you guys think?
