1995 honda civic ex sqeaking noise?
I have my honda civic and it makes a sqeaking noise everytime i turn on the car. But when i'm driving it doesn't sqeak
Just only i turn on the car on and off i've tried inspecting i just hear it around driver side i don't know if its ac belt or alternator belt etc any help would be appreciated thank you.
All of the drive belts and belt tensioner/ idler bearings are on the passenger side so if you want to find out which side or which belt the noise is coming from: Remove one by one or all of the drive belts and start the car.
But according to your description about the noise, I would say it your starter making the noise. Pull the starter and inspect the pinion gear teeth and the flywheel teeth for worn out/ damaged. Replace if needed. HTH
- We have a 2006 Honda CBR. When you drive it, there's a loud whirring noise coming the back underneath side. What could cause that noise? The noise is situated around a CV boot on the left underneath side where the differential connects to the middle.
- 1995 Honda Magna vs 1995 Honda VFR 750? Which is better at -top speed -acceleration -do you think the top two matter? -driving pleaser (if you know) -sound (if you know) -reliability I'm looking to get one of these two but I'm not sure which one. I feel like I love these two motorcycles equally so do I get the cheaper one that I can find?
- My 1995 Honda civic 1.5L recently wouldn't start an hour after a common commute? The fuel and air are not the problem. I'm not getting a spark. The engine cranks but will not start. I have already replaced the ignition control module and have tested the ignition coil. I don't believe it is anything to do with timing because it has no problems with skipping and such. Without replacing the entire distributer what else could be the problem?
- How to know if your module thingy is out in your distributer in a 1995 honda civic? Just wanted to know the possible signs or things your car would do if the Distributer wasn't working right.
