1997 Honda Civic having trouble starting?
The starter could be damaged or the fuel pump or a spark is worn out, those are usual damages. An unusual damage is, if the car didn't get an oilchange, then at one point in time the oil becomes like dry glue and can't smear the engine anymore, which leads to head gasket driding off and then the car has no more pressure in the combustion chamber to start. Without further examination its impossible to say what part exactly is broken that causes the trouble.
- Is trouble shooting a helmet lock the same as trouble shooting a key stuck in a door? I have a Honda VFR and the key is stuck in the helmet lock. Its all the way in and turned slightly but won't budge. I just need to know if i should try lube before i call a locksmith.
- Every time I stop to get gas in my 2003 Honda element, it has trouble starting? My car recently had a completely new engine put in and now when I get gas it takes a few tries to get it started. So I put a new battery in and now I have to put my foot on the gas pedal while starting it for it to start. But it's only when I stop to get gas this happens. Every time other than that it starts just fine, no problem at all. Does anyone have any ideas what is going on?

I have to turn the key like 4 times before it actually starts up. At first it chokes up while trying to turn on… Any ideas as to what I can do?
